Antonio Conte blasts "insulting" Lautaro Martinez rumours
Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte claims suggestions that forward Lautaro Martinez is eyeing a move away from club are “insulting”.
The Argentinean has long been linked with a switch to Barcelona, but his manager isn’t having any of it.
“The rumours around him are insulting his intelligence and trying to stir up trouble, claiming he is thinking about another club,” said the ex-Chelsea boss.
Inter chief Giuseppe Marotta has also suggested that a new contract could be in the offing for the forward.

Arsenal confident on Willian
Willian could follow in the footsteps of his Brazil team-mate David Luiz in swapping Stamford Bridge for The Emirates later this summer.
It’s long been reported that the 31-year-old winger, who has made over 300 appearances for the Blues since joining in 2013, favours a stay in London.
He reportedly turned down a move to MLS side Inter Miami amid contract negotiations with his club. It’s said he wants a longer deal than the one-year extension they’re offering him.
The latest report from ESPN Brazil reporter Bruno Vicari suggests that Arsenal are optimistic of their chances of signing Willian as negotiations continue with the club.
His current contract was extended to cover the remainder of the protracted season, but unless he signs an extension, he’ll be a free agent next month.

Liverpool 'pushing' for Osimhen
Liverpool CEO Peter Moore is reportedly pushing for the club to sign in-demand Lille striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The 21-year-old has been widely linked with an estimated £80million move to Serie A side Napoli but the Reds could be about to make their move.
According to RAI Sport journalist Ciro Venerato, via Area Napoli, Liverpool’s hierarchy are keen to sign the forward, yet remain cautious about spending money in uncertain financial times.
A big-money move for the Nigerian forward seems unlikely despite the Reds clearly expressing interest in bringing Osimhen to Anfield.

Ligue 1 interest in Karius
Ligue 1 side Montpellier are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius who has been on loan away from Merseyside for the past two seasons.
Goal reports that the French side are keen on landing the goalkeeper who has been informed that he is no longer needed at Anfield.
The 27-year-old shot-stopper will be allowed to leave for a fee of £6m this summer and Montpellier are the latest club to join the race to sign him.
Besiktas have previously expressed interest in Karius after the goalkeeper’s loan spell at the club but a move has not yet developed.

Porto set asking price for Arsenal target
It’s been revealed what it would cost to land Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira, following the player’s come and get me plea earlier this week.
The 28-year-old Portugal international has just won his second Primeira Liga title with Porto and was very complimentary about the job Mikel Arteta is doing at the Emirates.
“(Arteta) is doing a really, really, good job there,” he told Stats Perform News. “He is a really good coach and Arsenal play very good football.
“The style…I think I can fit there (at Arsenal). Of course, I like to be here in Porto, to be here in my country, but I want to be in a better league like the Premier League.”
Porto are said to be holding out for at least €40million (£36m) for Pereira, according to Portuguese outlet Jornal de Notícias (via Sport Witness).

Dortmund ‘planning’ for Sancho departure
United’s hopes of signing Jadon Sancho this summer have been boosted by Borussia Dortmund reportedly planning for the winger’s departure.
According to the Telegraph, the Bundesliga side have begun their search for a future replacement in the event that Sancho does leave for United in the imminent transfer window.
The report also states that the two clubs are still £20million apart in their valuation of the 20-year-old which means there will need to be negotiations on both sides of the table in the coming months.
Werder Bremen’s Milot Rashica has been eyed as a possible replacement for Sancho and could therefore be a key part of the England international being able to move to Old Trafford.

United eye former Everton midfielder
Former Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye is believed to be on United’s transfer target list this summer.
Le10Sport, cited by Manchester Evening News, report that the club are interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder with midfield reinforcements needed this summer.
The report also suggests that the 30-year-old is willing to stay in the French capital but a move to United could be a possible option.
His defensive abilities may be viewed as a positive for United given that Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay remain the two main defensive options in midfield.

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to double the wages of Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson who is currently on loan at Sheffield United.
According to Manchester Evening News, the 23-year-old’s representatives have been in contact with Chelsea about the possibility of a move and he is believed to be unwilling to play second fiddle to David De Gea next season.
Solskjaer has reiterated throughout this season that De Gea remains world class and part of his plans despite several high profile errors - two of which came against Chelsea in Sunday’s 3-1 defeat.
While United will be keen to prevent Henderson moving to a direct rival, the likelihood of him staying at Old Trafford as second choice remains minimal.

Chelsea aiming for ‘impossible’ Ter Stegen deal
Chelsea will attempt to sign Marc-Andre ter Stegen, according to reports.
The Barcelona shot-stopper is highly-regarded across Europe and has been earmarked by Frank Lampard as a possible replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga -- the world’s most expensive goalkeeper.
The Blues are all too aware of how hard it will be to agree a deal with Barca but feel confident in mounting an attempt regardless, according to Mundo Deportivo .
Chelsea will be monitoring the 28-year-old’s contract negotiations with Barcelona in the hope it could open the door to him moving to Stamford Bridge.

Pioli signs new AC Milan contract
AC Milan have abandoned plans to appoint Ralf Rangnick as manager after extending current boss Stefano Pioli’s contract by two years.
RB Leipzig chief Rangnick was in line to take over the reins at the San Siro at the end of this season, but Milan have stuck with Pioli. Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis was thought to be behind the pursuit of Rangnick, but praised Pioli’s role in the club’s recent revival.
“Stefano has shown he can deliver the vision of football we have for our club -- exciting, progressive and passionate,” Gazidis said.
“This is not a decision based on recent victories, but one based on how Stefano has built team spirit and unity of purpose, the way he has improved the performances of the individual players and the collective team.”
